Dysport is a prescription injection proven to help smooth the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines without changing the look or movement of the rest of your face. Dysport treats moderate to severe frown lines by reducing specific muscle activity. Wrinkles are caused by repeated movements and muscle contractions, which means they can even develop in younger adults. Dysport is administered through tiny injections between and above the eyebrows to temporarily prevent muscle contractions that cause frown lines, leaving the rest of your face to move naturally.
Dr. Pinski is one of the top injectors in the United States with over 30 years of injectable experience. Dr. Pinski is also an advisor to the Allergan Corporation (the manufacturer of Botox) and he customizes each treatment to meet your personal needs and skin care goals.

Dysport is recommended every three to five months; over time one may retrain the muscles and treatments may be spaced further apart.
Dysport can take up to a full week to take effect; however, most patients notice that their frown lines are smoother in two to three days after the injection.
The procedure is very quick and easy. Prior to each Dysport injection, an ice pack is used to alleviate any discomfort. There is no downtime after the treatment, but patients may experience slight redness around the injection site. Patients should not use alcohol, aspirin or vitamin E three days prior to their treatment to help minimize any chance of bruising. *You should not receive Dysport if you are allergic to eggs, or if you have an infection, swelling, or muscle weakness in the area where the medicine will be injected. Tell your doctor if you have ever had a side effect after receiving any injectable in the past. Your provider will ask in-depth questions concerning your medical history to see if you are a good candidate for this treatment.
Dysport helps with reducing excess muscle contractions which helps to soften lines and prevent the “etching” in of lines. However, some areas may have hollowing or volume loss. In this case, fillers are great in combination with Dysport to help restore volume to common areas like the cheeks, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, under eyes, and the lips. Treatments to help the epidermis and general skin health such as DermaSweep, chemical peels, laser resurfacing and a customized topical regimen will help accentuate the injectable treatment. The combination of multiple skin therapies can effectively treat a wide array of signs of aging.
