Sciton HALO

Get Glowing with HALO

Halo by Sciton is the world’s first hybrid fractional laser, combining ablative
and non-ablative wavelengths.

HALO

This advanced technology precisely targets years of skin damage, addressing fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, discoloration, acne scarring and enlarged pores while promoting collagen production for a more youthful complexion.

Unlike traditional laser treatments, Halo offers a customizable approach, allowing patients to achieve their desired results with a tailored intensity level. Whether you’re looking for a gentle refresh or a deeper resurfacing, Halo provides noticeable improvements in tone, texture, and overall skin health with faster healing times than fully ablative lasers.

Pre-Treatment Instructions

Avoid Sun Exposure

  • Avoid direct sun exposure for 2-4 weeks before your treatment. Sunburned or tanned skin may increase the risk of complications and affect the efficacy of your treatment.
  • Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a minimum SPF of 30 and reapply frequently, especially if you are outdoors.

No Tanning or Self-Tanners

  • Avoid tanning beds and self-tanning products for 2-4 weeks prior to your treatment. These can increase your skin’s sensitivity and interfere with the laser’s effectiveness.

Stop Certain Skincare Products

  • Discontinue the use of retinoids, alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), and beta hydroxy acids (BHAs) 3-5 days prior to your treatment. These ingredients can increase skin sensitivity and may cause irritation when exposed to the laser.

Shave the Treatment Area

  • If the treatment area is on your face, shave the area to ensure optimal treatment. Avoid shaving on the day of the procedure if possible.

Hydration

  • Drink plenty of water before your procedure to ensure your skin is well hydrated.

Arrive Without Makeup

  • Come to your appointment with clean, makeup free skin to avoid any contamination during the procedure.
