Our team offers a variety of treatment options for treating rosacea and redness.
The Vbeam is a pulsed dye laser, which means that the laser energy is delivered in pulses and a dye is used to generate laser beams of different colors. Since the Vbeam is used to treat dilated blood vessels, as in rosacea, it is often called a vascular laser. This laser removes unwanted red pigmented lesions caused by dilated blood vessels. Most people are candidates for Vbeam, however factors like age, type of lesion, color of lesion and location on the body all need to be considered. We ask that you come in for a consultation first so that the doctor can determine if you are a candidate.
KTP is a laser that specifically targets vascular lesions, dilated/broken capillaries, cherry angiomas as well as brown pigmented lesions on the skin. The laser works by heating the vascular walls and melanocytes causing them to weaken and shut down. The body will then absorb the vascular and shed the pigmented waste.
The DermaSweep MD Multi-Level Skin Resurfacing System exfoliates dead skin and damaged cells with a unique bristle technology, and gently “sweeps” away signs of aging. A controlled suction stimulates blood flow and accelerates collagen production. The second portion of the treatment uses highly concentrated, paraben-free epidermal infusions that provide the skin with essential vitamins and ingredients that improve the overall health of the skin.
