Dr. Albert Yang earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Illinois Chicago before completing his internship at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston and his dermatology residency at the University of Michigan. During his training, he completed a research year at Northwestern University focused on wearable technology for atopic dermatitis and participated in an international dermatology elective at Peking Union Medical College Hospital in Beijing, China. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Yang enjoys caring for patients of all ages and skin types, combining medical and procedural dermatology to improve both skin health and quality of life. His favorite skincare essentials include daily sunscreen, azelaic acid, and niacinamide for their effectiveness and versatility.
Outside of work, Dr. Yang enjoys baking, weightlifting, gardening, playing tennis, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
Dr. Yang will begin seeing patients at Dermatology + Aesthetics – Lakeview in October and looks forward to welcoming new and returning patients to the practice.
