Facial Treatment

The classic facial is our take on the classic spa facial. This pampering treatment includes cleanse and steam. Extractions and high frequency are performed if needed. The facial is completed with a mask and relaxing massage. Our teen facial is a mini introduction to our classic facial. This facial is designed to deeply cleanse, exfoliate, tone and condition the skin. Cleanse and steam are followed by extractions if needed. A mini chemical peel with lactic acid is included when appropriate.

What Will The Procedure Feel Like?

Most patients find our facials to be very pampering. There can be mild discomfort during this process when extractions are performed.

Do I Have to do Anything to Prepare in Advance?

Discontinue use of any topical retinoids (Retin-A, Tazorac, Differin, Ziana, Epiduo, Tretinoin, Clear Plus, Avene Retrinal or Triacneal, Triluma, etc.) and mechanical or granular exfoliation for five days prior to treatment. Avoid facial waxing for seven days prior to treatment. Please tell your provider if you have a history of cold sores as we recommend pretreatment to prevent a flare. Treatment may not be performed if there is an active cold sore.

What Will I Look Like Afterwards?

Your skin will look refreshed after your treatment. There is no downtime associated with these treatments. Mild redness may occur when extraction or a light chemical peel are performed. Redness typically lasts a few hours. Flaking and/or peeling skin is very rare, though can occur after a light chemical peel, and should only last three to five days.

How Many Treatments are Necessary?

Average skin requires regular exfoliation to maintain a bright complexion. We recommend facials monthly.

When Will I See Results?

Results take time. While you will definitely feel a difference after one facial, maintenance treatments on a monthly to quarterly basis are required to maintain the results.

Who Cannot Have The Treatment?

A facial can be customized for anyone and everyone.
